Board-Certified Physician – Family and Obesity Medicine
The clinic for the Noblesville School District, Noblesville, Indiana USA Dr. Sarab Alfata is a board-certified physician specializing in both family and obesity medicine. She currently serves as the lead physician for the Noblesville School District in Noblesville, Indiana. In addition to her medical expertise, she holds a Master’s degree in Positive Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University and is a certified Mind-Body Eating Coach through the Institute of Psychology of Eating. Her journey as an advocate and community organizer began with the onset of the Syrian revolution in 2011. A passionate voice for Syria and its people, she has hosted events, engaged with policymakers, and raised awareness about the Syrian cause on national and international platforms. In 2012, she served as a board member of the Syrian Expatriates Organization (SEO), focusing on uniting the Syrian diaspora in support of freedom, democracy, and human rights. Currently, she is a dedicated board member of the Syrian American Alliance for Peace and Prosperity (SAAPP). In this role, she leverages her organizational expertise and advocacy experience to advance the mission of fostering meaningful political, economic, and social collaboration between Syria and the United States. Her steadfast commitment to building bridges, promoting awareness, and championing shared values exemplifies leadership within both the Syrian community and professional endeavors.
