ASAS Health, McAllen, Texas USA Dr. Yazji has dedicated over 25 years to serving the Rio Grande Valley as a primary care physician and community leader, ensuring the health and well-being of its residents. His contributions extend beyond his clinics, with decades spent advancing the greater good both locally and globally. As founder and CEO of ASAS Health, he has pioneered holistic healthcare models that prioritize patient-centered care. His leadership also includes serving as Chairman and Cofounder of the South Texas Clinical Partners ACO, where he champions value-based care addressing complex medical needs and social determinants of health. Globally, his dedication is reflected in his role as Co-founder and board member of the Union of Medical Care and Relief Organizations, where he has supported medical relief initiatives in Syria, Haiti, Ukraine, and other regions in need. In education, he has made significant contributions as Professor and Dean of Clinical Medicine at St. James School of Medicine and as Clinical Assistant Professor at UNT Health Science Center and UTRGV School of Medicine. Through these roles, he mentors the next generation of physicians, emphasizing community-focused and compassionate care. As Co-founder and President of the RGV Diabetes Association, his efforts have transformed diabetes awareness, education, and treatment across the region.
