Lantern Properties Inc, Fort Wayne, Indiana USA Alia Natafgi is an accomplished businesswoman, and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Beirut during the Lebanese civil war, her Lebanese-Syrian heritage has deeply influenced her commitment to justice, and freedom. After immigrating to the United States in 1997, she studied Political Science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). With extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate management, she has established a successful career in Indiana and Illinois. Her expertise in managing and growing assets has earned widespread respect in her community—skills she is eager to leverage toward rebuilding Syria’s infrastructure and economy. Her advocacy work includes serving as Vice President of Citizens for a Safe and Secure America (C4SSA), where she played a pivotal role in advancing policies that promote safety and security at both local and national levels. She has also supported several humanitarian and advocacy initiatives, including the Lighthouse Peace Initiative, which aids Syrian refugees in Lebanon, the Hope Association for Cancer Relief, the We are One Association for Orphans in Idlib, Syria, and Kayla’s List PAC. On a personal note, she is married to a Syrian physician from Idlib, and together they are raising three children. Her family ties and personal connection to Syria are the driving forces behind her unwavering commitment to its recovery and prosperity.
