He graduated from the University of Aleppo’s medical school and went on to complete prestigious nephrology fellowships at Brown University and the Mayo Clinic. He has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at West Virginia University and as the Chief of Medicine and Nephrology at Charleston Area Medical Center. Dr. Zanbali has been deeply involved with the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS), serving as a former chairman of the SAMS Foundation and a member of its society board. For over 13 years, he has actively contributed to medical relief efforts through SAMS, showcasing a steadfast commitment to humanitarian causes. In addition to his medical career, Dr. Zanbali has been a passionate advocate for the protection of Syrian healthcare facilities and for increasing relief funding to support Syrians during their struggle against the Assad regime. His unwavering dedication has made a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals in need.
